Am I the only one or is other blogger's having trouble commenting? It's been five days now and its very frustrating. I don't understand why I can receive comments but cannot comment myself.
Hello Deborah: You are not alone. Last week seems to have been one Blogger nightmare after another. But, this morning, we have found that our problems [which centred around Followers] appear to have been fixed. We do hope that it is the same for you!
I've experienced the same thing. It seemed as if it only happened on certain blogs, not across the board. If the blog allows Anonymous comments, you can use that, or use the Name/URL option and just type in "Fisherman's Cottage" under name.
Yes, most of us have had the commenting issue but one way around it that will allow you to comment is, when you sign into Google, UNcheck the box that says "stay signed in"...that fixed it for me. Also, those who have pop up comment windows aren't having a problem. It seems the comment pages that stay on the blog page are having issues. Weirdness in blog world lately!!!
I agree with Victoria, I think it's got something to do with settings. I never "stay signed in" also I don't don't have my settings such that you have to wait for approval. I don't have the pop ups though on my page, and don't have problems.
Hi, Richard Here from My Old Historic House. I have had two friends email me and say they could not leave me comments as well. I have no trouble leaving or getting them. Must be yours and there blog provider. i hope it changes fr you and every one soon. Happy Memorial Day weekend.
I've had no problems commenting but others have had problems commenting on my blog but I think it's fixed, they are commenting now. I love the image of the soda dispenser. Gets me in the mood for glass and silver vintage.
You are not alone. Blogger has messed something up. But do what Victoria says...she and others gave me that advice and it worked! I'm guessing when Blogger fixes things we will have to go back and check the box again. ox
