Door in the Bathroom

I bought this old and rather woodworm pine door quite a few years ago, it had been stripped of its old paint so I dry brushed on mid green and a pale green paint and added a few hooks so I can hang jewellery etc.

I just added a jar of flowers today but I also use the hooks for towels.

I haven't really changed much in my bathroom cabinet, just added a few old bottles and shells.

My son starts college very soon and I still have supplies to shop for, every year I say I'm going to start early but somehow always leave it to the last minute :)

  1. Hello Deborah:
How very effective all this looks. We love all things distressed and you so obviously, as shown here, clearly have an eye as to how such things maybe used with such style in an interior setting. Your door is, we think, an absolute find. What colour paint did you use for we love that shade of green?

My boss and I picked up an old door at a flea market years ago and it's a great display piece.

Ours is scaly brown, pretty perfect actually.

    but your color is heavenly.

  24. I have a bathroom door at my cabin and it's really ugly. I never thought of putting hooks on it and hanging crafts or other art to make it more pretty. I will do that when I go there this summer.
