A Touch of France

This cutlery caddy has been used to store quite a few things in its time, from glasses to cutlery, I wanted to liven up this part of the kitchen so thought I would add a touch of France by adding some cooking essentials such as herbs, olive oil and condiments.

The herb here is Thyme, I just buy herbs from the supermarket they're inexpensive and after using in the kitchen it gets hardened off for planting outside.

The copper pan was found recently it just needed a clean with a mixture of lemon and salt to take it back to its lovely pinkish copper tones. I'm linking today for Feathered Nest Friday over at French Country Cottage

  1. Good Morning! I love how the box looks with the big cupboard and the pots hanging on hooks. Potted herbs and bottles of oil grouped together is my favorite look...I so love your kitchen and it does look very France! :)

  15. I'm totally in love with that hutch! It looks like it's two pieces and maybe had doors on the front? Is it something you put together. It's really beautiful.
